With the political climate heating up in Canada as we head toward an October election, it is important for everyone to become politically involved and ask their political representative their views on the issue of live shipping horses to Japan for slaughter. Engaging your federal representative is one of the most important actions you can take in helping the CHDC to change the current Canadian government’s attitude toward this abhorrent practice.

This is not humane, and should be stopped they are shipped and then put in boxes nailed shut, wired in with out water or feed–who does this? Money hungry bastards that is who!..
