(Los Angeles, CA, August 26, 2011) “Saving America’s Horses” to launch in Canada!
Wild for Life Foundation is proud to announce the launching of the acclaimed film, “Saving America’s Horses – A Nation Betrayed” in Canada. Founder of CHDC and Advisory Board Member to “Saving America’s Horses”, Sinikka Crosland, underscores the importance of bringing this film from theU.S. to Canada because the problems exist on both sides of the federal border.
Launching the film in Canada costs money and donations are needed to help cover expenses like festival and screening fees, replication, travel, and lodging. Filmmaker Katia Louise has been invited to present the film in person at the upcoming International Film North Festival which runs Sept 22nd – 24th, in Huntsville,Ontario, Canada. The festival will feature a special advance screening on Saturday, Sept 24th at 2PM with a filmmaker Q & A to follow. Representatives from the CHDC including Twyla Francois and Shelley Grainger will also take part in the lively discussion.
“Saving America’s Horses – A Nation Betrayed” features lead investigator Twyla Francois and exclusive undercover footage from the Canadian Horse Defense Coalition (CHDC). This important documentary resource provides a platform to over 40 of the world’s most renowned equine professionals bringing their voices to the world stage through cinema on behalf of ending equine cruelty.
Bringing this film to Canada is part of the “Saving America’s Horses” On World Stage campaign just recently launched by Wild for Life Foundation. The chief objective is to get the truth out through the public release and distribution of this life saving film.

I have, and will continue to, support this film. I’m thrilled that it’s coming to Canada. Any chance the gist of it will be translated (I may be able to help with that)? All I ever needed to know about SAHorses was that Tippi Hedren, Director of Shambala Wild Animal Refuge was featured.
