  2. There are always going to be excess horses. Back yard breeders etc… I would rather see these horses going to slaughter than starving to death or living a horrible life. What is the difference between a horse being slaughtered than a cow?
    Look at what has happened in the US. Horses are being turned loose to fend for themselves. They are starving to death. Do we really want that for our excess horses?

    1. Why stop there? Let’s get rid of all the excess people while we’re at it. If they say there are alternatives then there are alternatives.
