Horse therapy

When you think about pet therapy, you often think about dogs — helping the elderly, or returning military veterans. But now that idea of using animals for therapy is expanding, as some people turn to horses for help with conditions like depression and PTSD.

Lauri Walker, who has survived a string of abusive relationships, explains why she decided to use Equine Therapy to deal with her issues and the special connection she has with the horse Whiskey.

    This is fine–great—BUT don’t forget to sign petitions to STOP the cull of Alberta’s wild horses—which are therapeutic by their very wild-ness. You have to love and want them all—domestic and wild—-
