Marie Dean, not long ago I suggested a protest on Parliament Hill, with Alex Atamanenko perhaps speaking. You mentioned something about looking into it.With the recent announcement of MPP Madeleine Meilleur of the OSPCA and additional funding that would not only cover Dogs and Cats but Livestock as well, perhaps any potential protest should be on the lawn of the Ontario Legislature in Toronto. The protest goal would be to get the Ontario Legislature to move a motion to support BILL322 in the same manner as Toronto Council did unanimously. If this could be accompolished it would be a huge benefit to the ongoing efforts to ban this barbaric industry. 519 7382881

For those of us in Ontario opposed to this barbaric industry. Thought you may be interested in knowing that I have written Kathleen Wynn Liberal Premier on 3 occasions with no reply from her, Taras Natyshak NDP MPP and Andrea Horwath leader of the Provincial NDP with no reply. I am asking they consider moving a motion forward to support BILLC322, after all the Municipal Govt. of Toronto supported the BILLC322 UNAMIOUSLY. Next week I will write to MPP Percy Hatfield on the same issue.Lets begin a writing campaign directed at Liberal and NDP MPP in Ontario. They need to support BILLC322 SOONER RATHER THAN LATER.

It is an excellent idea to have MP Alex Atamanenko to speak at your protest. Also a good idea to notify the media as they could very well cover it on your TV network. The more public exposure the better.

I am from Ontario and could not possibly attend this POSITIVE ACTION. I wish you much success, have you notified the media? Perhaps the next ACTION can be a protest on Parliament Hill. We could ask MP Alex Atamanenko to speak, and have the media present. I would definitely attend with three other supporters.

  8. Well,, I find this GREAT!! …. Was much needed and seems, its a never-ending story. Either we battle in silence over the net, ect or present ourselves in live and stand up to them! I would love to share a hand & be there, but its a long, long ways for me, gee. Although, i would like to note that, in late 2010, I attended the Protest at “Richilieu,s Meat plant, qc,” along with many others. It was a cool, but sunny autumn day & this was done during the week. I,ve seen it all, I felt the horrors, I felt everyone,s pain & sadness upart from my own, I starred through the closed Frost gates high enough, long enough and that concentration camp was a site i,ll never forget. (CTV News) was there & the SQ police….. Bouvry and troops have not seen the end to this dissagreement. Of-course in heart & mind, I will stand….
    Cheers to all!
    Tks, merci. ~
