new horsemeat scandalFollowing last winter’s horsemeat in lasagne scandal, a new crisis has hit northern Europe, and the French Farmers Union says the Belgian Mafia is behind it.

Horses were sold from this stable to a man who promised to give them a retirement home.

But they were taken to Belgium, their health passports changed and then returned to France to be slaughtered for human consumption.

  1. OMG WHY doesn’t someone step up and take ownership of this vile and corrupt slaughter and STOP ALL of it……………….. Just doesn’t make a lick of sense to me, NONE…… No need of it so frustrating thinking all the lying and deceit and deaths continue..

    The article didn’t say what happened to the horses but it looks like the slaughter plant didn’t butcher them. I wonder if the horses were given back to the person that brought them in? They could have been taken to a plant that don’t pay much attention to the passports.
