Healing horsepower

This article was in the Toronto Star today.  There’s such a disconnect where horses are revered for their healing power and yet are slaughtered in huge numbers unabated in this country.  Something is very wrong with this picture.

    We need farms like this to help our cause about ending horse slaughter. As professionals who use horses for the good of people, what they say to our government would go a long way.
