Chef Takes Horse Meat Off the Menu

Four months after Chef Peter McAndrew made the controversial announcement that he was putting horse meat on the menu at his South Philadelphia restaurant, McAndrew has had a change of heart.

“I’m not going to do it,” McAndrew said. “I got a lot of letters from animal activists and it really made me think.”

    I think this man was more afraid of the FDA than any cruelty the horses went through. They were checking because of what happened in Europe, since horse meat was found in pretty much all of the food supply.

    Mr. McAndrew, If you seen the barbaric conditions and unspeakable slaughter practices of those who take part and support such atrocities on Dogs and Cats in Asian countries I believe you would have second thoughts of consuming these animals. Like the video you seen of Horse slaughter, the same is available for the slaughter of Dogs and Cats.
