People in this community have been calling SPCA for years in regards to theese horses. The OPP recently when a horse was dead in the field. This man has been neglecting his horses for years!!! It has nothing to do with the low hay volume this summer. He does not deserve to have horses.

You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to see that these poor creatures are starving! If you can’t afford to care for them then allow someone else to take over and be sure you don’t replace them. Owning and caring for horses is expensive so ownership should never be taken lightly. Horses are wonderful animals who live long lives and deserve proper attention.

Agreed entirely! If you can’t afford to feed your horses you do not deserve to enjoy their company!

Its great for this herd that they can be seen by the public. Horse in need of care and food that are not seen by the public face a much worse fate.

I am glad that the public are bringing all this into the light!
