A horse story

Anyone who has been involved with horse racing long enough will tell you it is a game of extreme highs and lows. As such, it is not surprising those are the events that usually garner attention. Meanwhile, the quiet day-to-day actions of people go by largely unknown by most.

The following is one of those quiet stories. It involves good people doing right by a horse for no other reason than kindness.

What great people. I agree, Racing does need more owners like that

  3. Thoroughbred racing needs more people like these owners & trainers. It would really make a difference to this industry. More thoroughbreds should not be raced until 4 or later..giving them a real chance to grow & form their bones. Racing babies just makes for more unsound horses on the track & the use of drugs & broken down horses going for slaughter. Just love their way of thinking!
