Good news from the U.S. – Moran Amendment Passes

It once again imposes a ban on the spending of taxpayer dollars for the required ante-mortem (before slaughter) USDA inspection of horses that was lifted last year by a conference committee of just four individuals. It will now be part of the House version of the Agriculture budget.

    Good news, but we ain’t there yet. The Ag Bill still has to pass. Pray the “Gang of Three” doesn’t strip it out in Committee!
