A Belgian horse hit 11 times trying to be stunned. Come on America. Watch this and see how totally wrong this is. Horses die a terrible death and suffer horribly. HOrses brains are too far back in to be stunned anyway. They are with butchered alive no matter what others would say just to make it alright because they are in it for the money. I do not know how anyone can eat horse meat after seeing that. How much longer are Americans going to be silent about things that matter?

Good for the Canadian Horse Defence Coalition. It’s about time those at the top realized how badly our horse slaughter facilities are operating. There is no excuse for such horrible cruelty. The CFIA does not even follow their own regulations.
Horses should not be butchered for human consumption as they have no real way of knowing what drugs horses have been given in their life time. False paper work will only work for so long.
Pro slaughter refers to horse slaughter as “horse harvesting”. The average person would have no clue what they were talking about.”
